The Ghost
I see you there,
Not far away,
My hands reach,
But touch nothing.
I hear you,
An echo,
Losing resonance with time,
Your words, the same.
I feel you,
Like the breeze,
You brush past,
Disturbing nothing.
I smell you,
As a memory,
So quickly gone,
As you are.

And When We Dance

And when we dance,
We will sing,
We will trill,
And when we shout,
We'll rejoice,
Over hill,
And pastures new,
Of field of green,
With violet hue,
We will dance,
We will sing,
We will be!

Rebels

Glass shattered,
Feet pattered,
Turn and run,
Their deed is done.
Man chases,
Frightened faces,
Menaces avoid,
Man annoyed.
Fearful friends,
Make amends,
As they run for their lives,
One trips and falls,
Another calls,
"Get up and run,
Our deed is done!"
He can't get up,
His foot is stuck,
A broken bone,
Boy left alone,
Alone to fight,
The deathly night,
For he can't run,
Their deed is done.
